Hi i am a Chartered accountant with two years exp in private co.Now i want to switchover to career in Civil Service. But as per my knowledge most of engineers appear for Civil Service.I want to know whether it will be worthy or not?

It is not that only Engineers opt for Civil Services in India. IAS is the cherished of so many professionals across all industries and sectors.
You should definitely go for it in my viewpoint.
